PROJECTS
Marketing programs and events are never designed to be an end in itself, but rather as a tactic to drive a larger strategy, always with the understanding that the ultimate goal is to generate or increase revenue. Coming from a background in advertising sales marketing, I am experienced in developing and executing engaging programs that create authentic connections between brand and audience.
The following are some of the projects I've worked on:

Multi-Market Conferences and Tours
ESSENCE Young Women’s Leadership Conference: Jumpstart Your Future!
This conference was created to empower young Black women (ages 18-24 years) with the tools and information she will need to unleash her brilliance, fuel her success, and to fully realize her potential as they prepare to leave college and launch their careers.
ESSENCE College Tours
Targeting readers between the ages of 18-24, the ESSENCE College Tour celebrated the style, beauty, and expressions of ESSENCE readers between the ages of 18-24 with the ultimate student experience - combining information and entertainment. Incorporated into prominent, key events in the social life of the universities visited, the tours included the following activities to engage the students: seminars, beauty consultations and generating an estimated $11,400,000 in revenue over a period of seven years; grew program attendance from 7,000 to 12,000 attendees per year.
